When you’re ready to send an email, you can select your saved segment from the recipient options in the email builder. You can also choose a segment to exclude from the campaign, which is useful when you want to target one group while leaving another group out.
For more advanced targeting, Mailchimp’s higher-tier plans provide an advanced segment builder with more complex conditions and nested AND/OR logic. Regular segments have more limited condition and logic options depending on your plan.
