DASHAUN JOHNS: NEXT FIGHT ON FIGHTNIGHTLIVE 11/23/19, STAR BOXING
Shoot The Five with Xavier Porter speaks with undefeated #DashaunJohns (2-0, 1 KO) ahead of his next fight, taking place on November 23, against undefeated Alex Vargas (4-0, 1 KO).
Johns (Bronx, NY) and Vargas (Belleport, NY), both southpaws, have extensive amateur boxing pedigree and are willing to put their undefeated records on the line.
The fight is scheduled to take place at the Paramount Theater, promoted by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing.
Johns, nicknamed “Too Sweet”, is a former national amateur boxing champion.
Johns has faced some of the best young prospects, currently in the professional ranks, during his time in the amateur ranks.
For Johns, he sees this fight only going one way: a win for him and a loss for Vargas.
“I’m expecting him to come to fight. I’ll be fighting in his backyard. I’m very confident. I asked for this fight. If he makes it to the six rounds, I will stop him.”
