Canva Magic Layers Just Changed Design Forever 🤯
Canva just released “Magic Layers,” and it completely changes how you can use AI-generated images.
In this video, I show how to:
– Generate a featured image with AI
– Upload it into Canva
– Instantly turn it into a fully editable design
I also tested it with an AI infographic created by NotebookLM… and it rebuilt the entire thing so I could edit every piece of text.
Here’s the exact prompt I used 👇
Please create a featured image in a wide 3:2 ratio format for a [course / blog post / product / video] called “[TITLE]”. The background should be [background color or style]. In the center, include the main title text with “[PRIMARY WORD OR TITLE]” in all caps using a [font style] font, and “[SECONDARY WORD OR SUBTITLE]” below it in a smaller size, also in all caps. Both lines should feel visually balanced and roughly the same width.
Around the text, include a collection of flat vector graphics or icons that relate to the topic. These should be neatly arranged and use a mix of brand colors: [color 1], [color 2], [color 3], and [color 4]. Keep the design clean and visually appealing without making it feel cluttered.
The overall style should feel [clean / modern / minimal / premium / techy / playful] and work well as a polished featured image.
