Email marketing is still one of the highest ROI things you can do for a business, but I totally understand why so many people avoid it. Writing campaigns, digging through reports, figuring out who to email, and setting up automations can easily turn into a part-time job.
I’ve been using AI a lot across my businesses, and what’s crazy now is that it can actually connect directly to your email marketing account and work with your real data. In this video, I connect Omnisend to Claude and use it to analyze my campaigns, find customers I should be emailing, figure out where I’m leaving money on the table, and build actual campaigns and automations inside the account.

What makes this different from just asking AI to write an email is the Omnisend MCP connection. Claude can see what has actually performed in your account, look through your subscribers and segments, identify people who are starting to go cold, and then use all of that context to recommend what you should do next. I even have it create an A/B tested campaign and a full welcome automation directly inside Omnisend.
I definitely wouldn’t let AI blindly send everything for me, but having it handle the first 90% of the work completely changes how I think about email marketing. My ideal setup now is spending a few minutes each week checking performance, figuring out who I should email next, and reviewing what AI builds while the automations keep running in the background.
