Hey there, I’m Matt, and today I’m diving deep into MailerLite and everything it has to offer. Right now, I’m on the MailerLite dashboard, specifically in the subscribers section.

Just click the link and you can explore the platform with me. So, let’s start with adding subscribers.

You can do that with the green button at the top. If you have a list from another platform, you can import it from a CSV or even copy and paste from Excel.

You can also add a single subscriber by entering their email and name. Plus, there’s an option to import directly from Mailchimp or via an API if you want to sync with another email service.

Now, let’s check out the campaigns section. Here, you can create your first campaign.

MailerLite offers various options like A/B testing, autoresends, and RSS campaigns. When you click on the green button to create a campaign, you’ll see options for regular campaigns, A/B split campaigns, and more.

If you’re new to email marketing, MailerLite has documentation to help you understand these features better. In email marketing, we usually have standalone emails called broadcasts and sequences, which are multiple emails sent over time.

MailerLite refers to these sequences as automations. Let’s create a regular campaign to show you how it works.

I’ll name this demo campaign and set the subject line to “Intro Email.” You can even add emojis if that’s your style. Just remember, you need to authenticate your email before you can send anything.

Once that’s done, you can select your recipients, track opens, and use UTM tags for Google Analytics. Next, we’ll move to the content section.

MailerLite has a drag-and-drop editor, which is super intuitive. You can choose from 97 different templates, organized by category, like Black Friday or business updates.

Let’s pick a template and start customizing it. You can change text, images, colors, and even add social icons.

Once you’re done, just save and click “done editing.”

After that, you’ll review and schedule your email. You can send it immediately or schedule it for later.

You can also send a test email to see how it looks. Now, if you want to create an automation sequence, you’ll go to the automation section.

You can start from scratch or choose from templates like welcome emails or promotional campaigns. Let’s set up a simple welcome email.

You can customize the flow, add delays, and even set triggers based on subscriber actions. Moving on to forms, MailerLite lets you create pop-ups, embedded forms, and promotional forms.

You can design a pop-up to convert website visitors into subscribers. There are various templates to choose from, and you can customize the look and behavior of the pop-up.
